The 2024 Elections and Improvements to Pilkada
The year 2024 will be a busy year for politics in Indonesia as the country faces the political process of determining the country’s leaders at various levels, from national, regional, to district or city. The political process in the 2024 simultaneous general elections is nearing its end in determining the executive (President and Vice President) and legislative office holders, and will soon continue with the political process to determine regional heads at the provincial and district/city levels through the 2024 simultaneous Regional Head Elections (Pilkada).
