As an institution with an organizational mandate to conduct research, monitoring and education in the field of elections and democracy, the electoral law enforcement process has always been the focus of Perludem. One of the important phases of election law enforcement is the process of disputing election results in the Constitutional Court. Therefore, during the 2024 election result dispute at the Constitutional Court, Perludem took the role of taking a close look at how the Protector of the Constitution and Democracy plays a role in realizing constitutional democracy in Indonesia.

This book, which is in the hands of readers, is a summary of Perludem’s various monitoring activities of the election results dispute process at the Constitutional Court. Ahead of the voting day of the 2024 elections, Perludem prepared monitoring activities for the election result dispute trial at the Constitutional Court. We trained approximately 15 students to conduct research on the case files of election result dispute petitions. This research is aimed at building a data formula, to look at the statistics of election result disputes from various aspects quantitatively. In addition to collecting quantitative data, this book also presents an analysis of the examination process and decision of the 2024 PHPU case.
